Last night's dream was a game. In a tall, dark building at night, there was a darkened elevator lobby, and the first 16 or so floors above the main floor were where the game took place. There were about 16 couples or individuals as well, and each of us were handed a piece of paper with a different set of instructions printed on it in large block letters, telling us which floor to visit first. We were to take turns boarding one of the two elevators as they returned to the lobby, and then we were to go to whichever floor the instructions told us, at which point something would happen, an event or a puzzle to solve, which would give us the clue to the next floor. I think the paper each of us carried was where we could record for ourselves the floors we had visited, but there were papers on tables on each floor to be signed. Also, the clue to the next floor was different for each player, so that we were all visiting the floors in a different sequence. The crowd, though only 16 among 16 floors, seemed to make it barely-managed chaos to figure out one's way through the part of the puzzle on any particular floor.
