A familiar dream location, slightly tweaked as many times before, but this time in a kind of backwards direction, made last night's dream notable, along with the actual persons and events occurring at that location.
I was attending a church fellowship social with lots of food - the old Southern-style traditional no-event celebration, or that used for homecomings and reunions and so forth - that was taking place on the corner/side of my 33.5-year workplace's operations building that still had its old wall style and paint. The only problem is that none of the old ops building corridors ever looked that way: It is the style found in the first floor hallway of the headquarters building: large cement tiles in marbled gray with medium-gray cement in the seams formed the lower half of the walls, while the upper half were smaller, standard cement block painted yellow. Why a church fellowship took place there, I don't know, but it seemed to be going hand-in-hand with some educational exhibits for young people which were occurring further down the hall. There was another part or detail of the dream which has slipped my mind right now, but I'll add it in a later paragraph if it comes back to me.
