In a pristine old house with somewhat ornate, white-painted walls, which seems to be the house in which I'm living in this dream, cats and dogs are romping, and after some animal noise is heard, one of my relatives gasps with alarm and trips and falls down a short staircase at the front side of the house near the door. The architecture appears to indicate this is one in a row of houses in an urban setting. The relative who is injured kind of flickers in my perception between various aunts and uncles, mostly on the maternal side but not entirely. At different instants in time the person seemed to be my Aunts Martha and Catherine, and my Uncle Billy. At one point some other family members in the house pick up the uncle or aunt, now seemingly more definitely aunt, from the stairs and try to put them on a low sofa not far away, even before assessing her injuries. Even in the dream I think that this is a bad idea, and the reaction of pain from the injured relative bears this out. And in yet another point of dream ambiguity (did I always have these waver-points or am I just noticing them?), it might be a bathtub instead of a low sofa into which the relative is placed.
Other parts of the dream contain the recurrent theme of boarding a shuttle bus to get to an event. It is a full-sized, Greyhound or Trailways style bus, with its prominent colors being silver and blue. It has both seats and a row of hold-on straps for standing near the back, or sometimes in dream-style ambivalence, near the front.
